Charity Christmas cards
For nearly 30 years Card Aid has produced Christmas cards for charities to sell to their supporters. Charities wanting to buy cards, click here.

Card Aid shops were developed to provide an outlet for charities to sell their Christmas cards to a wider public. There are now about 30 Card Aid shops selling charity Christmas cards on behalf of over 300 charities (click here to see shop locations).

Our Customised cards range enables businesses and individuals to choose from a range of fantastic designs and add their own greeting, message, logo and nominate a charity to benefit from the sale of the cards.

Card Aid now offers customisable animated and still e-cards to individuals and corporate clients. These highly original, all-singing, all-dancing cards are a fantastic way to stand out from the crowd and make a seasonal giving more memorable.

Today, in a market swamped by commercial companies producing so-called 'charity Christmas cards' where as little as 2% goes to charity (read more about this), Card Aid provides a unique service to charities, companies and the general public, with 100% of profits donated to charity.

We are very happy to offer impartial advice on whether it would be beneficial to become involved in Christmas card trading. With information about your supporter base and shop sales, we can offer advice on best selling designs and about the quantity and range of cards that would be most suitable for you. Card Aid cards are high quality, innovatively designed cards that support charity. Our extensive range of cards enables you to choose a card to suit your individual taste or company image.

Company Ltd is registered in England and Wales

Card Aid: A History

For nearly 30 years Card Aid has produced Christmas cards for charities to sell to their supporters.

Card Aid shops were developed to provide an outlet for charities to sell their charity Christmas cards to a wider public. There are now about 50 Card Aid shops selling charity Christmas cards on behalf of over 300 charities (click here to see shop locations).

More recently, Card Aid online was set up to help companies and individuals access real charity cards. Our packs of cards in our Packed range are pre-printed (showing the greeting and supported charity) and packed with envelopes. Our customised card range enables businesses and individuals the chance to choose from a range of fantastic designs and add their own greeting, message, logo and nominated charity to benefit from the sale of the cards.

Card Aid shops are open from October to December (exact dates vary). With over 30 shops, Card Aid is the largest chain of temporary Christmas card shops in London. There are also several Card Aid shops outside London (Cambridge, Oxford, Guildford, Bromley). See list below for all locations.

Card Aid is not just a supplier - We work in partnership with charities to help them make money from Christmas cards. We are happy to give advice to all charities, including those who do not buy cards through us.

Card Aid was initially set up over 25 years ago to help charity trading by providing outlets through which charities could sell Christmas cards. As well as selling cards for charities, Card Aid began to produce its own range of cards. Many charities now choose designs from our high quality range to sell in our stores and to their supporters. Its established name has enabled Card Aid to become a valuable part of charity fundraising; promoting the image of charities and helping them to make money from cards.

Today Card Aid produces cards for over 100 charities each year, ranging from large national charities to small local groups.

Not just for companies
Want to personalise your own christmas cards this year? Customised cards are also available to individuals who want to add their own message, personal details or images to a particular design.

Card Aid has really helped us raise our income. We have ordered different Christmas card designs each year since 2004 and the number of designs and cards ordered has gone up every year in line with the increasing demand from our supporters. Even before we started trading cards ourselves, Card Aid sold cards in support of the Medical Foundation in their shops and donated 25% of the sales to us, thereby raising thousands of pounds for our work. The service we have received over the years has always been brilliant and very efficient. Our supporters love the cards and we are already looking forward to the new designs for next year.Charity Christmas cards

All cards produced in the UK - cut down your freight miles this Christmas!

The staff at Card Aid have given us invaluable advice on the designs of our cards, steering us towards the cards that would sell best in their shops as well as appeal to our supporters. The service they provide, printing and packaging the cards, has enabled us to have three different designs each Christmas, something which as a small charity with no administrative staff we would have found difficult to do ourselves. The membership scheme, whereby we have sold 25% of our cards through the Card Aid shops, has worked brilliantly for us – our designs have always sold out in the shops and the income generated has been really important to us. The generous donation of income from the donated overs has made our partnership even more worthwhile financially.

The Card Aid scheme has been perfect for Jo’s Trust. As a small charity it has enabled us to raise our profile with our supporters by providing them with a really attractive selection of cards and at the same time raise significant funds for our cause. I would highly recommend Card Aid to any charity with similar aims to our own and wish them well for the future.

CPRE have worked with Card Aid for seven years and are always impressed by the personal, friendly service and good advice that is provided. Card Aid's knowledge of the charity Christmas card market is an invaluable resource. The option to sell charity cards in Card Aid shops over the Christmas season is especially useful for widening the appeal of a charity and for smaller charities that do not have the resources to sell high numbers of cards independently. Furthermore, CPRE have been very grateful to Card Aid for the ‘donated overs’ scheme which adds significant value to our merchandise operation. As an environmental organisation, Card Aid’s resolve to use only British printers is especially important to CPRE.

I'd just like to thank you for such wonderful service. I thought that by the time the cards arrived I'd have pretty much sent mine out and these would keep for next year. How wrong I was! Ordered 2.30pm on Friday, arrived here 9am Saturday. It doesn't get better than that. I've bookmarked your site and I'll certainly be back.

I so enjoyed reading about the different charities with each card that you were supporting and that, along with your beautiful cards, is why I wanted to bring my business to you.
