About the Charities

Card Aid helps charities large and small make money from Christmas cards

We guarantee a minimum of 25% of the price of packed stock goes to the charity named on the card.

This amount is not to the trading company of the charity, but to the charity itself for its work. (Funds given to the trading company may not be passed over in full to the charity).

In fact, based on past performance, Card Aid has averaged 40-60% of the cost of the cards going to charity.

Card Aid uses any profits to make grants to a range of charitable causes. We have, with your help, helped literally hundreds, if not thousands, of charities over the years.

For example, from 2010 sales we gave

£4,000 for research into diabetes, to King's College Hospital   -   £3,500 to the Alzheimer's Research Trust   -   £2,000 to the British Lung Foundation   -   £1,000 to buy shoes

for children in Africa   -   £4,500 for research into Multiple Sclerosis   -   £1,800 for research into Macular Disease   -   £4,000 for hospice care in the UK   -   £2,500 to educate

children in Africa   -   £7,000 for peace and reconciliation projects
